ROBERT C.
WINSLOW holds a Master's Degree in Biology and taught
Wilderness Studies as a full time faculty member at Idaho State University
for six years. Since moving to Durango in 1981 Robert has been a full time
freelance photographer specializing in wildlife, natural scenes, travel
and outdoor recreation. His work has appeared in many books, magazines,
on gift items and calendars. He has won numerous photo awards including
the National Wildlife Cover Photo Contest. His photos have been used in
national ad campaigns by such diverse entities as Amtrak, The National
Audubon Society, The National Geographic Society, The Nature Conservancy,
Phillips Petroleum, Serengeti and the Detroit Tigers Baseball Club. Two
of his photos appear on the tails of Frontier Airliners. Since 1989, Robert
has also run photographic tours to special locations around the world.
