SID and SHIRLEY
RUCKER, a husband and wife nature photography team, photograph
birds (specializing in hummingbirds), mammals, insects and other nature
subjects. Sid and Shirley are full time travelers and have traveled the
continental United States extensively. Their list of publication credits
include national and international magazines, publications and calendars.
Frequent publications are: Birder's World Magazine; Wildbird magazine's
Hummingbird issues; and Texas Parks & Wildlife, many featuring double-page
spreads and covers. They have been published in International Wildlife,
Ranger Rick (double-page spread), National Geographic World (cover), National
Geographic books, Smithsonian, Donald and Lillian Stokes', The Hummingbird
Book, and Connie Toops', Hummingbirds: Jewels in Flight.
Other credits include photos used in non-fiction educational books, commercial
advertisements for birding equipment, and brochures for Butterfly World.
