GARRY HOBART
has had a lifelong love of photography, following in the footsteps of his
Father and Grandfather, starting to do his own black and white darkroom
work at the age of nine. After retiring from the practice of law, Garry
started devoting more time to his hobby, eventually entering the fine art
market, and recently the stock photography market, focusing on nature,
travel and adventure photography.
His work has been exhibited
extensively in Vermont, most recently doing one-man shows at Vermont Law
School, the Quechee Inn Gallery, and for the Norwich Conservation Commission.
He is currently represented by the Polonaise Gallery in Woodstock, Vt.,
and has been published in "Here in Hanover" magazine and the "Royalton
Town Report". He has also done assignment work for several clients. He
travels regularly and has a stock library of over 10,000 slides.
