 Kenneth
Wyatt is a writer/photographer holding degrees in Biology and Electronic
Engineering and has been an avid nature and travel photographer for over
30 years. During his career as an electronics engineer, he’s written and
illustrated countless technical magazine articles and engineering journals
on various areas of electronics and computer technology. Through the years,
he’s photographed weddings, retirement ceremonies, and has also done corporate
photography for several well-known engineering firms. He is currently a
freelance writer/photographer for the Ute Pass Courier, a local weekly,
where he serves as a feature photo and nature writer. A recent article
on local wildflowers won first place in the Colorado Press Association
annual competition.
Kenneth specializes in all types of natural history;
western landscapes, wildflowers and Colorado wildlife and scenics. Geographic
coverage includes most western national parks and wilderness areas, including
Alaska and Hawaii. International coverage includes many areas of Australia,
Baja California, Germany, New Zealand, Paris, Scotland, and Switzerland.
He has also developed a Web-based resource for
nature photographers and has developed a series of nature photography seminars
and photo tours, which are available through his local parks and recreation
department. Kenneth is a member of the North American Nature Photography
Association (NANPA).
